The Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO) is a Center of Excellence funded by the National Agency for Research and Development (ANID) of Chile's Ministry of Science, Technology, Knowledge and Innovation. Hosted by the University of Concepción, the Institute brings together researchers from leading Chilean universities, including the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, the University of Chile, the Austral University of Chile, and Andrés Bello University, to advance interdisciplinary frontier research on the ocean and its processes.
