An annual international event held in Concepción and organized by the Millennium Institute of Oceanography (IMO) together with the Oceans Institute of the University of Concepción. The festival offers free screenings of outstanding Chilean and international documentaries that explore the importance of the ocean for our lives and the planet. The program features animated shorts, documentary shorts, and feature-length documentaries, creating opportunities for audiences to reflect on marine conservation, ocean science, and the relationship between people and the sea.

The Festival serves as a bridge between art and science, fostering dialogue between filmmakers, scientists, educators, and the public while strengthening Concepción's identity as an international hub for marine science and oceanographic research.
